Kia ora! I’m Trish
Hi I’m Trish and I’m a proud Scots lass who, after 20 years in New Zealand, also considers herself part Kiwi. I call a beautiful lifestyle block in Northland home, where I live with my husband Nick, our two fur babies Bo and Jet, and a variety of other animals, including those we care for through Bay of Islands Animal Rescue.
My journey into the travel industry began in 2012, working as a consultant and team leader at several Flight Centre retail stores in Auckland. In 2018, I took the exciting step of becoming an independent agent for Flight Centre, moving my travel business to my spare room. In December 2023, after weathering the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, I joined the Travel Managers Group, a subsidiary of Flight Centre, and proudly launched my own brand, TS Travel.
I believe that exploring the world opens incredible opportunities, enriches our lives, and creates unforgettable memories. I’ve visited 22 countries, including multiple destinations within Asia and the USA, yet my wanderlust remains insatiable! Some of my favourite places I’ve visited are Tasmania, New York city and Singapore.
Like everyone who loves to travel and explore, I have my own bucket list – Alaska is one I was lucky enough to tick off my list recently (check out my blog to read about that trip), African Safari, visit all the South Pacific Islands, Great Barrier Reef, a luxury rail journey (anywhere). Travel is addictive, eye-opening, joyful, sometimes scary, exhilarating, fun, and so much more.
